Strongholds/Skirmishes / Strongholds: The first encounter
« Last post by WorldWarGames on January 24, 2016, 02:39:09 pm »
As of 24 January 2016, 14:30 CT, People must now get online at approx 7pm CT to engage in strongholds. People may be granted leave if they are unable to attend, but must post here first. People may also request transfers to and from the front lines, (not having to show up), but certain requirements will have to be met. Certain members want to do strongholds, others may not care. I don't care if you don't care; The purpose of a clan is to engage in clan activities, ie. Clan Wars. Strongholds is the first step to Clan Wars. It is a given in this day and age, that any clan owning a province on the Global Map actively engages in Stronghold Battles. If you cannot even compete with amateurs in Strongholds, you have no chance of engaging in combat with the pros in CW.

LADIES AND GENTS!

I'm back! All this nonsense with moving is 98% over, and hopefully we can get back in gear and play some tanks. With the implementation of the new global map I plan to train a little and then jump onto the global map in the tier 6 sector. This is easier, as its our home turf; the downside is you get less gold, but thats still more than we're getting now!

With school in session life becomes slightly more difficult as most people age 5-26 will have class during the day. However, this will not stop us. Everybody who is interested in Active CW Participation should say so on the "Readiness - Active" Post under clan wars. Anyone who wants to sit back and relax but occasionally earn some free gold should post in the "Readiness - Casual" post under clan wars.

Expanding on my previous post. I,m currently living in a temporary house with no internet aside from my iPhone. I will unfortunately remain in this situation untill about mid August. Until then, I am administering authority to all officers to do the basic things required to keep the clan alive.

Hopefully I can join you on the front soon.

Fieldmarshal WorldWarGames.

General Clan Related Posts / An explaination

For all those wondering why I haven't been online lately, this post should explain.

For the cynics, its NOT because I'm quitting WoT, am bored of it or anything else.

There are 3 reasons:

1: I haven't been able to properly run the game, as it glitches on me; I have attached photos of some of the various glitches that have kept me from properly playing.

2: I'm moving. Its hard to spend lots of time on a game when you're boxing things.

3: School; I'm learning about 4 different languages right now, and I'm studying for a test. Again, hard to obsess over pixel tanks when you have an important exam approaching.

So I hope that clears things up.

GLHF o7, and I'll see you on the battlefield shortly.

All members must use Teamspeak.
An explanation as to why is unnecessary, but I'll give it anyway.

TeamSpeak3 is a useful application that allows users to communicate with text, (which we already have), and voice. Our TeamSpeak3 channel is hosted by the Legion Gaming Community. LGC also has it's own Clan channel, and you are allowed and encouraged to go up and platoon with them. The IP is teamspeak.legiongc.com. To get your permissions, go here: http://legiongc.com/forum/teamspeak.php. If you need more help, I have posted a video showing how to do it:

K, good going tonight, we did at least manage to win one. I think we all learned some very valuable lessons, and hopefully we can apply them tomorrow. The next map is Murovanka.

Here are various plans of attack:

Blue Lines are Team 1 (North), Red Team 2 (South).

Green and Brown are various ridgelines not depicted due to image outdating.
